![]() ![]() TL DR: Diablo II works fine with Patch 1.14b on Windows 10 but gives me a CD-Drive error after patching to 1.14d although there was no CD but the downloaded Installer used. ![]() I tried googling since yesterday and also opened a ticket with the blizzard support but nothing I tried (compatibility mode Win XP SP2/3 and Win 7, run as Admin, add -w to shortcut, installing to a different directory) helped, that's why I'm counting on you guys. Also it's worth mentioning that I can start the game with patch 1.14b (installer) but get the error with 1.14d (manually patched and via B.net). ![]() Next, I tried to install via the official Blizzard download and here things get really strange because I keep on getting the error that the cd is missing but this shouldn't really be a problem when using the installer. Still, the same error although the disc was still in the cd-drive. ![]() I thought that maybe something went wrong after the upgrade so I just reinstalled the game via disc. After the upgrade to Win 10 D2 won't run anymore because I get a CD-Drive error telling me I need to insert the disc. I had D2 installed on Win 7 and everything was fine. ![]()
